Ciara Johnson Speech Therapy, LLC is a private pay company. We accept all major credit & debit cards, cash, or checks. Credit and Debit card transactions are through a secured online service.
Speech and Language Evaluation $225
Therapy sessions 30-60-minute sessions $75-$150
Unfortunately, we do not bill health insurance. We have learned that by billing insurance companies directly, we are at the mercy of a third-party provider to determine if our services are deemed "necessary" and are limited to treating only certain children with a certain approved diagnosis. We feel that this approach limits us in providing individualized care tailored to each child's specific needs, as well as unfairly disqualifies children from services who do not have a diagnosis at the time. We treat the child's strengths and weaknesses, NOT their diagnosis. We will, however, provide you with a Super Bill for possible reimbursement you may be entitled to through your specific plan.
All therapy and evaluations take place in the place of the client's choosing.
We do not accept insurance. We can provide you with a superbill which can be submitted for possible reimbursement to your insurance company.
A Superbill is a claim that can be submitted to your insurance for Out-Of-Network services to potentially receive reimbursement. Clients are responsible for finding out information regarding out of network coverages from their insurance company.
We work hard to be flexible with you and understand that things happen! We do ask that you call or text within a 24-hour window to cancel/reschedule appointments. If numerous late cancels occur, we will charge a $25 late cancel fee. This will be discussed during the first appointment when client and clinician sign a therapy agreement.
Yes! An initial evaluation is crucial to establish an appropriate treatment plan. Ciara requires an evaluation unless the child has an outside evaluation from another speech-language pathologist within the same year.
